At home with art

An artist captures the quirk and character of Bendigo’s urban landscape in her quest to transform her life through creativity.

All about that view

Enjoy a rare glimpse of a new build that’s largely, ironically, hidden from view.

Caravan parked

One enterprising local is welcoming guests into her Bendigo backyard, lured by the promise of one sweet night with Amelie.

Something old, something new

One of the city’s grand historic homes was given a stylish modern facelift that has only enhanced its historic charms, thanks to careful planning and action by those at the helm of this extensive renovation.

G’day Peter

Settled amongst the hills of Heathcote, Aussie artist and satirist Peter Russell-Clarke reflects on a life that is as unique and full of interest as his art.

Make a statement

Want to stand out from the crowd? Contrasting finishes and distinctive shapes can be brought together to make a striking combination for any room in any home.

Offering sanctuary

Shelley and her family have created a beloved home and haven for rescued and retired animals, and those in need of some country R&R.

Natural progression

Artist Natalie Ryan grew up in country Victoria, and while she has lived in some of the busiest cities, designing for large textile corporations, her return to Colbinabbin has seen her reconnect with her love of nature and inspired her to establish Meander Art.

Made with love

For more than 10 years, Sonia Brit has been celebrating beautifully made items and supporting creative locals. She’s just upped the ante with her latest project —‘Made For You’ — a wonderful initiative that looks to take her philosophy of community artistry and expand it even further into the community.
